CHESS CLUB – QUEEN CITY CLASSIC TOURNAMENT
We are in full swing of planning a fun Queen City Classic Simul and Tournament for the kids this year. We are especially excited for the Wyoming Middle School students to have the opportunity to play and meet this year’s Shining Knight Award Recipient, 9-year-old Tani Adewumi! As you know, Tani is an incredible competitor with a big heart. (To read about Tani and his family see the New York Times features here and here.)
That said, the early bird registration deadline is coming up quickly on Friday, January 31! Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help you meet this registration deadline! It is important to us that every student has the opportunity to play in the QCC Chess Tournament.
You can reach out to Abby O’Neill at firstname.lastname@example.org or 513-703-8270 if you have any questions or concerns.

Call to Action from the Wyoming City Schools Board of Education
The Wyoming City Schools Board of Education is asking all residents to consider reaching out to state legislatures prior to February 1 regarding the expansion of the state’s EdChoice voucher program and the continued draining of scarce resources from public schools to private schools. To learn more, please visit: https://www.wyomingcityschools.org/about-us/board-of-education/state-of-ohio-edchoice-voucher-program/
A Message from the Parent School Association
Hello Cowboys! Believe it or not, it’s already time to start thinking about recruiting volunteers for PSA for the 2020-2021 school year! PSA could not accomplish all the great work that it does without parents and caregivers like you who are willing to give their time. Please consider completing the below volunteer interest form: https://wyomingpsa.wordpress.com/2020-2021-psa-volunteer-form/
If you have any questions about PSA for the 2020-2021 school year, please contact Wyoming PSA President-Elect Raquel Bevington at email@example.com
A Message from the 8th Grade Parent Advisory Council (PAC) Representatives
Eighth grade is an exciting year with many fun activities for your children and volunteer opportunities for you! Because many of these activities are not school-based activities, we are in the process of creating a Google Group to communicate the details. If you were in last year’s paper student directory you will be automatically added to this group. If you were not listed in the directory, please send an email to: firstname.lastname@example.org to be added to sure you are kept up to date and your student is not left out. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to one of your PAC reps: Melanie Niklewski (513-560-2858 or email@example.com) and Maria Seyerle (513-680-5400 or firstname.lastname@example.org).
