Here is the letter that was sent home to eighth grade parents along with their 3rd quarter report cards in April.
Dear Eighth Grade Parents,
You are cordially invited to attend the Eighth Grade Celebration for the Class of 2021. The program will be held on Thursday, June 1 at 7:00 p.m. in the Pendery Center for the Arts at Wyoming High School.
We are quickly coming to the close of another successful year at the middle school, and we are looking forward to celebrating the accomplishments of your children.
Rehearsal will be on Thursday morning, June 1, at the Pendery Center. Students should report directly to the high school gymnasium by 8:45 a.m. At the rehearsal, each student will receive their tickets for the celebration.
Students will be released from the high school sometime between 10:00-10:30 a.m. unless you have previously notified us in writing. Students whose parents prefer they remain in school will be brought back to the middle school for the remainder of the school day. Dress for the celebration is a shirt and tie for boys and dresses for girls with some sort of strap (spaghetti straps are fine, but no strapless dresses). Students should arrive that evening by 6:30 p.m. and report to the hallway between the technology room and the cafeteria.
You are invited to a reception following the program in the high school cafeteria. It will be a great time to take pictures and congratulate the students.
