Magazine Fundraiser – “Thank you to our student sellers in 5th through 8th grades for making the middle school magazine sale such a big success this year. Sales are still coming in, but as of the end of September, our students made more than $57,000 in magazine sales. This translates into $28,000 for the Wyoming PSA in support to the middle school.  Since orders can still be made online throughout the year, we expect that number to grow even higher!  Our profit totals thus far have beaten last year’s totals by a margin of about $4,000. We attribute this increase to greater participation from our 8th grade class, as well as outstanding sales from our top sellers, including sixth grader Julia Richman who sold 95 orders for magazines. She did this primarily by pounding the pavement in her neighborhood. Congratulations, Julia!  The students will celebrate their success at a student assembly on October 14 organized by our enthusiastic Interim Principal, Kathy Ryan. In addition to tap dancing teachers, Jim Dallio, Assistant Principal, will be having his head shaved as promised! Thank you to our teachers for volunteering their time to encourage and support our students and their efforts!”  – Kara Broderick, Andrea Chemero, Kimberly Hauser, Magazine sale volunteers
