Book Fair

Wyoming hosted 41 area schools at the Regional Power of the Pen Tournament at the middle school on Saturday.  Two hundred and forty-six writers wrote over 700 stories that day! Our Wyoming team really made us proud, bringing home the combined team sweepstakes trophy. In addition, our 7th grade team placed first and our 8th grade team placed fourth. Individual winners included Alina D. who placed 13th, Margo D. who placed 12th, Anna S. who placed 5th, and Natalie G. who placed 1st. Additionally, Natalie G. won a Best of Round for her third round story, and both Stella B. and Margo D. won a Best of the Best award. Their stories will be published in the Book of Winners, officially making them both published authors. Congratulations to all of our team members, and the generous student and adult volunteers who helped us run this tournament. We couldn’t have done it without you!

Lost and Found – Our Lost and Found collection has become huge.  Please stop by the first floor lobby and look for items that your student is missing.  Any items that have not been claimed by March 24th will be donated to Valley Interfaith Food and Clothing.
