Congratulations to the Wyoming youth wrestling program for a great showing at the Mason tournament with one team member getting a bronze medal and two others taking the Gold! The Jr high wrestling team had some big wins in the Cincinnati Country Day dual meet. The Jr high team still has openings on the roster. Attention Parents and Students – Our Lost and Found is overflowing with items. Please check for items that you may be missing. Any items remaining in Lost and Found after December 18th will be donated to Valley Interfaith Food and Clothing.
Model UN – Today, December 7, is the final turn-in day for the $75 deposit for 7th and 8th grade Model UN trip. We anticipate the total cost (including the deposit) to be about $235. In order to plan accordingly and accurately submit our payment to Columbus, we need to have all deposits by the end of the school day today. Students who have not submitted the deposit by this date will not be able to participate in Model UN. Please make checks payable to Wyoming Middle School and submit to the main office.

Our Winter concert this year is this evening, December 8th, in the Pendery Center. PLEASE note the time schedule for the concert(s). In order to seat everyone comfortably and allow room for students to experience the concert, we have scheduled two.
- The 5/6 concert is at 6:30.
- The 7/8 concert is at 8:00.
Concert dress is our Royal Blue Polo and appropriate black pants with dark shoes. If you student needs a blue polo, please let us know as soon as possible.

Junior Women’s Club of Wyoming Holds Light Up Wyoming
Light Up Wyoming will be held on Saturday, December 12th in conjunction with the Wyoming Holiday Open House. In its 29th year, Light Up Wyoming is a longstanding tradition in the community with the goal of creating an “unbroken circle of light” to show holiday spirit. Light Up Wyoming is one of the primary fundraisers for the Junior Women’s Club of Wyoming, a non-profit organization that supports the local community through volunteering and fundraising. Each year, the club disburses funds locally through the Junior Women’s Club of Wyoming Foundation. Kits are $15 and come with enough supplies to make 20 luminaries. Order your kits before Thursday, December 3rd and receive FREE home delivery. Kits can be purchased on JWC’s website at www.jwc-wyoming.org/light-up-wyoming. In person sales will run December 5th & 6th at the High School Tennis Court Lot and December 5th & 12th at the Civic Center. Science Olympiad – A reminder that this Thursday, December 10 Grades 6-9 have Science Olympiad practice afterschool. Next Thursday December 17th , 5th grade team practice. The $25.00 team participation fee is due. The deadline has been extended to December 17 . Checks should made out to: Wyoming Board of Education. Please put payment in an envelope with the team members name on it and then turn in at practice or to the main office.
5th Grade Dental Hygiene Items Collection – Each year, the 5th graders participate in a service project as part of their Holiday Party. This year we will be collecting dental hygiene items (toothbrushes, toothpaste and dental floss) to donate to Valley Interfaith Food & Clothing Center. Students who would like to participate can bring these items to their homeroom classes from now until their party on Dec. 18. Our 6th graders will be donating various “wish list” items for Cincinnati’s Ronald McDonald House*, which depends on donated food and supplies to keep basic necessities on hand.
