WMS Announcements 11/19/15

2nd Quarter Interims are available to be viewed online.

 

The Science Olympiad team, grades 6-9 only will meet on Thursday November 19 afterschool until 5 pm.  The 5th grade only Science Olympiad teams will then next meet on December 3 afterschool. Any questions please contact Coach Brown at 5browns@fuse.net.

 

The 7th and 8th grade cheerleaders are in CHL Cheerleading Championship Competition at Reading High School, 810 Columbia Avenue 45215 on Saturday, November 21st. The cost is $6.00. The doors open at 9am. It’s over at 2:00pm. The middle school cheerleaders compete at 11:20am for the dance/cheer, 12:35 for the jump off and 1:05 for the tumble off.

 

PSA is hosting a breakfast celebration on November 23, 2015 to honor the teachers and staff for making the National Blue Ribbon Award.  We greatly appreciation their dedication to our students without them this award would not be possible.  If you would like to volunteer your time for this event or donate some breakfast items, please go to the following link.

Avast ye Maties, whilst I tell ye a tale of mirth and merriment!  Grab yer thanksgiving drumstick and yer land lubbin’ friends and head on over to Scallywag Tag for a swashbucklin’ good time!  Friday after Thanksgiving, enjoy Laser Tag or Mini Golf, try your skills in the Arcade, then wander over to the waterin’ hole for eats guaranteed to cure even the worst case of scurvy!  All that fun, AND scallywag donates a portion of the loot to the PSA!  That’s a deal even a pirate can’t pass up.

It’s that time of year! Student Council will be collecting donations for Adopt-a-Family beginning Wednesday, Dec. 2 and ending Friday, Dec. 4. Wyoming Middle School will be adopting a local Wyoming family as well as a neighboring family through Valley Interfaith. Students can turn in their money to their homeroom teacher on Dec. 2, 3 and 4. The two homerooms that collect the most money will receive a donut party.
