Tuesday, November 10th is Conference day at the middle school. Conferences will be held from 11:00 a.m. until ending at 7:00 p.m.
Parents with whom a teacher has requested a conference have been notified. It is our intent to give those parents the first opportunity to schedule for November 10. We will not be sending home letters to parents of students with whom we are not requesting conferences.
If you have received a letter requesting a conference, you may call the office at 206-7178 on October 28th or 29th between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. to schedule a conference. If you did not receive a letter but would still like to set up a conference with your student’s teacher(s), please call on October 29th between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

The Alcohol Task Force Committee will officially welcome Dr. Maria H. Rahmandar, MD to talk with parents about the effect of alcohol on athletes and their brains. Dr. Rahmandar will focus on the effects of alcohol on coordination and decision-making, the potential for addiction later in life, and resources available for parents and teens who are struggling. This presentation is open to parents and interested community members.

BOX TOPS – Send in your Box Tops by October 30th! If you buy Cheerios or other General Mills cereals, Land-O-Lakes butter, Ziploc bags, Kleenex or Hefty trash bags, clip off the box top coupon and send it in.
