Wyoming Youth Services is as a non-profit social service agency dedicated to strengthening the Wyoming community through volunteerism, prevention, and support. Last year, the lives of nearly 800 youth and their families were enriched through our programs that provide student volunteer opportunities (Service Learning), mentoring, tutoring, life skills education, counseling, and crisis intervention. All programs are provided free of charge to Wyoming residents. Charitable contributions from the community, School, and City, as well as fundraising efforts play a vital part in supporting our mission.
Attached is a link to the T-shirt company: http://www.companycasuals.com/wyostrings. They manufacture our performance polo as well as all spirit wear. Fifth grade string parents, unless you have an older child that is passing down their polo, your young musician will need a polo shirt for all concerts this year.
Spirit wear is optional. The design came from renowned cartoonist, Jeff Stahler, former Wyoming resident. We offer short sleeve and long sleeve t-shirts as well as hoodies. All orders will be delivered to the middle school prior to October 5. If you have any questions please contact Mrs. Coomer or Mrs. Denney.
An annual student fee is established each year. This fee is used to help defray the cost of consumable materials and supplies used in the instructional program. The amount is established each year by action of the Board of Education. The amount for the 2015-16 school year is:
Grades 5-6 $35.00
Grades 7-8 $45.00
