GET READY TO SELL!!! This year’s PSA Wyoming Middle School Magazine Drive STARTS TODAY and runs through September 24th. Our 1st turn in day will be Thursday, September 10th in the before school in the WMS cafeteria. Earn great prizes including a limousine lunch for top selling 5th and 6th grade students and an outing to Dave & Busters for top selling 7th & 8th graders. We are asking students to set an individual sales goal of six (6) magazines. Parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and friends and neighbors can purchase or renew online by going to www.apmags.com and selecting “I’d like to shop and support a school”. The Wyoming Youth Services After School Program will begin on Tuesday, September 8 for grades 6, 7 and 8. Grades 6 and 7 will meet at 3:10 in Room 201. Grade 8 will meet in Room 208. Please contact Mrs. Debi Allen with any questions.

Make it Happen, the Wyoming Middle School service club, will have its first meeting Tuesday, September 8th. We will meet right after school until 4:00 in Mrs. Anglim’s room. All students are welcome!
Computer Lab opens next week! It is located on the 2nd floor of ELS-East. Come and do your computer work and/or get help with your other assignments. It is open Monday thru Thursday from 3:15-4:45 p.m. Hope to see you there.
Model UN – Attention 7th and 8th grade students interested in participating in Model UN; you must complete an online application. The link to the application can be found on blackboard, in the Model UN class. Just login to Blackboard and do a Course Search fpr “WMS Model UN” and enroll in the class. The link to the applilcation will be active as of Friday, September 4, and the deadline to apply is Sunday, September 20. The application will ask you to identify your group members and your top 5 country choices, so be sure to discuss this with your group BEFORE you apply. Even if you don’t have a group, you can still apply. The sooner y0u complete your application, the more likely you are to get your country choice.
Latin Club – 5th and 6th grade Latin Club meeting is every Wednesday after school. 7th and 8th grade Certamen meets every Friday before school.
