Did you know Wyoming Youth Services offers a FREE Summer Program for Wyoming residents who will be entering 5th-8th grades in the fall.  Snacks & drinks provided daily and we enjoy pizza on outing days. Meet at the Oak Gym each day except for Thursdays when we meet at the Wyoming Family Aquatic Center to swim.

We have themes for each day of the week. Public Art Mondays are where you can create and display art pieces on popular topics and then check back and see how the public has reacted to our work. Try A Sport Tuesdays are your chance to try out a new sport with local area coaches. Give Back Wednesdays is your chance to volunteer and let the community know that kids can make a difference in our community. Registration packets are available at the main office of each building and on-line at www.wyomingyouthservices.com. Check with Angie at angie@wyomingyouthservices.com for availability.

Required Vaccine for Students Entering Seventh Grade:  Current Ohio Department of Health requirements state that all students entering 7th grade must receive a dose of Tdap vaccine. The Tdap (Tetanus, diphtheria and acellular pertussis) vaccine is important to protect children against pertussis, commonly known as whooping-cough. Under Ohio law, schools are required to have written documentation from a student’s health care provider of the date that the Tdap was given. Students will be excluded from school if documentation of this vaccine is not provided prior to entering their 7th grade year. Please provide documentation of your child’s Tdap vaccine prior to the end of the school year. If you are unsure if you have already provided the correct documentation, please call the school nurse to verify your child has received his/her Tdap vaccine.

STUDENTS

Attention French Club members – We will be celebrating the end of the school year on Tuesday, June 2nd, after school.  Come eat delicious food and play some petanque. You may bring one friend.

 

Attention 8th Graders – There is a meeting on Tuesday, June 2nd, right after school in the Room 105 (Professional Development) for any 8th graders interested in participating in Cross Country in the fall.

 

To any student/athlete who may be interested in girls volleyball there is an upcoming Girl’s Summer Volleyball Camp June 8 – June 11. Incoming Freshman for 2015 will be 9AM-11-45AM, incoming 7th/8th for 2015 Grade will be 12:30PM-2:30PM. All camps are held at the Wyoming High School Gym.
