WMS Variety Show is THIS Weekend:  Friday, April 17 and Saturday, April 18 at 7 p.m. in WHS Pendery Auditorium.  The theme is “We Are A Family,” and you won’t want to miss the over 110 members of your Wyoming Middle School family performing and producing this show!  Tickets are only $5 each and they will be sold before each show.  Don’t miss this fun evening of entertainment!


An announcement from the Wyoming Theatre Arts Department – It’s that time-our final production of the 2014/2015 season.  Join us on May 1 and May 2 at the Pendery Center for the Arts, for a side-splitting evening of uproarious fun as we present The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged).  Seating is general admission and all tickets are $5.00.  Tickets can be purchased with a credit card at or reserve them at the ticket office (513-206-7157).  We look forward to seeing you at the show.  Let the bard be with you!



Who: boys and girls entering grades 7-12

When: May 2nd 12pm until 2pm

Where: High School Gymnasium

Cost: $15.00, cash or check at the door

You MUST bring a signed physical form by the parent/guardian to event to receive your physical. If it is not signed, you cannot get the physical. Link to physical form can be found here. You must register your child on the final forms website if you have not done so already. If you have registered already you can update your info and download a new physical form to be filled out at physicals


Wyoming School Music Association “WSMA” supports the music programs in our schools from Kindergarten through High School.

WSMA sells Graeter’s Chip Wheelies at all the school concerts and the Middle School Variety Show. These ice cream sandwiches are a huge favorite with the kids (and adults).  Haven’t sold Chip Wheelies before?  It’s easy!!  WSMA handles the ordering and delivery of Chip Wheelies and we’ll supply you with signage, a cash box, and instructions.  It’s a short time commitment — concert sales only take about an hour of time.

We have quite a few events coming up with the end of the year, so we could really use your help!  If you are interested in volunteering, the link is:    Questions?  Email Penny Shore at


It’s that time of year again, May Fete time!  And a successful May Fete isn’t complete without YOU, our trusty volunteers!  We are in need of MANY people to help make our games booths a success.   We need ChairPersons for the following:

Cake Walk   Mug Slide   Face Painting   Crazy Hats

Dear Parent(s)/Guardian(s) of Sixth Graders:

Current Ohio Department of Health requirements state that all students entering 7th grade must receive a dose of Tdap vaccine. The Tdap (Tetanus, diphtheria and acellular pertussis) vaccine is important to protect children against pertussis, commonly known as whooping-cough. Under Ohio law, schools are required to have written documentation from a student’s health care provider of the date that the Tdap was given. Students will be excluded from school if documentation of this vaccine is not provided prior to entering their 7th grade year. If you are unsure if you have already provided the correct documentation, please call the school nurse to verify your child has received his/her Tdap vaccine.

Dear Parent(s)/Guardian(s) of Fifth Graders:

The Wyoming City Schools Board of Education requires all students in the 5th grade receive a physical examination with the results submitted prior to thestart of 6th grade.  A link to the physical form is provided here for your convenience. One side of the form is for parental completion, the other for your child’s health care provider.  If your child had a physical exam last school year another is not necessary; however, documentation of the physical must be provided to the school. Please have your health care provider complete the form and then you may return it to school. If you are unsure if you have provided a copy of your child’s recent physical, please do not hesitate to call me and I will be happy to check your child’s school health file.

8th Grade Girls – High school cheerleading try-outs will start Monday, April 20th. If you are interested, pick up a packet in the office.
