Scheduling Flex Credit for 9th grade: Credit Flex gives students the opportunity to earn traditional credit in non-traditional ways. Credit Flex applications will be available in the Guidance Office and online the end of February. Students who are interested in taking Summer PE or online Health must complete a credit flex application. Applications are due April 10th. This is a firm deadline. If you have questions, please contact Ms. Moore or Ms. Ussery in the high school guidance office. Flex credit forms will be available in the middle school Guidance Office.
The magic returns to Wyoming this week. We will be selling tickets for the high school play “Beauty and the Beast” in the cafeteria during lunch February 25-27 at the middle school. We look forward to seeing you at the show. Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for students, staff, and seniors. You can pay with cash or by check.

Lace up your running shoes, & get your tummies ready!
The unofficial kick-off to spring arrives on MARCH 14, when the Wyoming School Foundation (WSF) and Wyoming Youth Services (WYS) team up to provide Wyoming families with a morning of fitness and breakfast! The Wyoming School Foundation kicks off the morning with the 4th annual 5K FUNRUN. Runners of all ages and ability are encouraged to participate! Check- in begins at 8:00 a.m., with the race starting at 9:00 a.m. at the corner of Worthington and Beech. The course winds through the village of Wyoming streets. Families are encouraged to participate together–the course is a 2.5K loop; if you want, run it twice for a full 5K run.

Once the run is completed, head down the street to the Civic Center for the 14th annual PANCAKE breakfast, sponsored by WYS. Yummy pancakes, both plain and chocolate chip, syrups, sausage, fruit, coffee and juice will be available. Cost is $10 for adults, $5.00 for kids, ages 4 and up. Kids 3 and under eat for free. Breakfast is served from 8-11:00 a.m.
Proceeds from the FUNRUN will benefit the Foundation’s Middle School Capital Campaign.
Proceeds from the Pancake Breakfast benefit Wyoming Youth Services.

The Wyoming Middle School Variety Show will be held on Friday, April 17 and Saturday, April 18. Auditions will be held on Tuesday, March 3 at Pendery Auditorium. 8th graders are invited to audition to be an Emcee, in addition to auditioning with their own act. All other students may audition with one act. There will be a theme chosen AFTER the audition process. Please read the guidelines on the Sign-Up Genius link carefully as some things have changed since past years – including the audition times for various acts. The rehearsal schedule is also listed on the sign-up.
Go grab a group of friends to audition (there is more “safety in numbers”). Good luck, have fun, mix it up, be silly, and enjoy the process!
