PARENTS

This Sunday is LaRosa’s PSA day!   Why not alleviate some of the holiday stress and let LaRosa’s do the cooking for you!  LaRosa’s will donate 10% of your purchase back to the Wyoming Parent School Association (PSA).  All monies go directly to the PSA, and are used for some amazing stuff for your kids.  Be sure to print out the attached flyer and submit it with your payment at time of purchase!  Thanks again for your support, and have a Joyous Holiday Season! Follow this link for the flyer LaRosa’s PSA flyer.

Have you signed up for your Kroger Community Rewards yet?  NOW is the perfect time to do so!   Lots of great savings are coming your way.  Right now, thru the holiday season, Kroger is offering 4x the fuel points on select gift cards.  Gift cards make the perfect holiday gift for folks on your shopping list, and with the large selection to choose from, you can find something for everyone!

Ready to learn how to save big at Kroger, AND support your school?  It’s simple.  First, go to the link below and follow the instructions to set up your Kroger Community Rewards.  (No more carrying a separate card, now Community Rewards are linked to your Kroger Plus Card!)

http://wyomingpsa.files.wordpress.com/2013/08/kroger-card-reward-program-2013_2014.pdf  Once you have enrolled, start shopping!  But wait, here’s a few simple hints to help you save more.

#1 Did you know you can now load coupons onto your Kroger Plus card?  Go to www.kroger.com, log in, click on “savings”, then click on digital coupons!  It’s that easy!  But wait, there’s more!

#2 Did you also know that you earn fuel points on things like gift cards?  Right now, through the holiday season Kroger is offering FOUR X the fuel points on gift cards (with the exception of pre-paid gift cards).   Gift cards make excellent holiday gifts for friends and family.  Don’t forget to pick a few up for yourself, too!

#3 All this savings power is awesome, but did you know that for each and every dollar you spend, Kroger in turn donates a portion of that money to your school?  Kroger will donate up to $4,000,000 a year to neighborhood schools and organizations.  Be sure to register for the Community Rewards Program, AND be sure to enter your Kroger Rewards Program # each and every time you shop.

Phew!  I think that about covers it.  Happy Shopping!  If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.  Have a great holiday season!

5th Grade Holiday Party – Beginning Monday, each 5th grade homeroom will have a box to collect  dental hygiene products (toothbrushes, toothpaste, dental floss) to be given to Valley Interfaith Food and Clothing for distribution to those in need.

6th Grade Holiday Party

Wyoming Middle School 6th grade students will be making gifts during the holiday party on Friday, December 19th for families who are “displaced” and staying at the Ronald McDonald House.

The 6th Grade students will be assembling “take away  snack bags” and a small snowman ornament for the families of children staying at the Ronald McDonald House. The bags will contain a small snack and water bottle for the parents many trips back and forth between the house and hospital to help defer the cost of vending snacks. The small snowman ornament will be an added gift to the family. At the end of the party, the 6th grade should have a total of 155 take away bags to share!

We are requesting a $5.00 cash donation from each student to cover the cost of the materials.  However, any donation will be greatly appreciated and students will participate in the project whether or not  they donate money.  Please send in your $5.00 cash donation to your child’s homeroom teacher no later than Wednesday, December 17.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me or your child’s homeroom parent. Thank You!
