The Haunted Trail of Wyoming is this Saturday, November 1st from 7-10pm at the Wyoming Recreation Center. The first hour is a non-scare candy hour from younger youth and another chance to wear your Halloween costume. This year there will be food for sale before the haunted trail begins and you can go through the trail an unlimited amount of time. The cost is $5 per person and all proceed benefit Wyoming Youth Services.

 

 

PARENTS

Science Olympiad Team Parents – please note the Build Day trip to IUPUI has been canceled for November 8, 2014.  An email to the team will be coming this weekend.

 

It’s Time to Purchase a Yearbook!  If you would like to purchase a yearbook for your child, go to www.yearbookforever.com

  • Cost is $25 now through 12/31/14
  • After 12/31/14 the cost is $30
  • Sale ends on 1/30/15

 

 

STUDENTS

Next week is National French Week!  Below is a schedule of events for the week:

Monday 11/3 – Cheese tasting during lunch (Donations for Doctors Without Borders accepted)

Tuesday 11/4 – Do you have “déja-vus”? French words game (Win prizes)

Wednesday 11/5 – African flag day – support West Africa by wearing red, green, and yellow (Please respect the WMS dress code)

Thursday 11/6 – French breakfast at 7:30 AM in the HS cafeteria (Donations for Doctors Without Borders accepted)

Friday 11/7 – French movie at 3:15 PM in room 34

 

Tryouts for 7th and 8th grade Girls’ Basketball will be held next Monday through Wednesday (November  3-5) afternoons at Sports Plus.  If you are trying out, please change in the high school girls’ locker room immediately after school and meet Coach Kunkel and Coach Whipp outside the gym doors by 3:20.  Everyone will ride the bus together.  If you have not signed up yet, you still can.  Just see one of the coaches, asap.

 

“Wrestling Sign-Up Meeting for 7th and 8th Graders – HS Cafeteria on 11/4 @ 3:20 – Come right after school to meet Coach Grunenberg and learn about the world’s oldest sport. There are 16 weight classes from 80# to 245#, so you do not need to be the biggest or tallest to succeed.  Bring a friend to the meeting and sign up to build strength and confidence this winter.  Everyone on the team will wrestle in each event – THERE ARE NO BENCH WARMERS!!
