Reminder for Parents and Students: Friday, October 17 is Picture Retake day. If you want to retake your picture, all you have to do is bring in the picture package you don’t want, give it to the photographer and they will retake your picture and send you the same package with the new pictures. If you haven’t had your picture taken, we have picture forms in the office that you can pick up.

Remember your hats tomorrow! Thursday, October 16 is Caps for the Cure at the Middle School. Students are encouraged to wear a hat for the day and donate $1 or more. All money will be donated to The Cure Starts Now. 100% of the donations will go directly to pediatric cancer research.
Because of the rain, students will have the chance to be graffiti artists again tomorrow at recess. Make it Happen is sponsoring “Chalk for a Cause.” Students make a donation and can draw on the sidewalk going out to the Athletic field. All money raised will be given to The Cure Starts Now.
Attention all 7th and 8th Grade Girls interested in playing basketball for WMS this year: There is a mandatory meeting today for girls who are going to try out for basketball and their parents at 5:00 pm in Room 13 (Mr. Kunkel’s room). We will share the schedule for the year, team expectations, and the tryout process. Please contact Mr. Whipp or Mr. Kunkel in advance if you cannot attend.
Attention all WMS students: You have a great opportunity on Thursday evening at the Wyoming Public Library—author Kate Hattemer will be discussing her new book , The Vigilante Poets of Selwyn Academy. Kids from a high achieving school take on a zany TV reality show called “For Art’s Sake” which is taping at their school—they take on the show through the power of the pen. Her book is filled with friendship, secrets, corruption and a grand adventure you certainly won’t forget! Thursday at 6:30 at our Wyoming Branch Library.
