Dear Parents and Guardians,
I love that our WMS students are such huge readers!! Thanks for your role modeling and encouraging reading at home!
As we come to the end of the school year, it is important to collect all books and get fines paid off! Please help your students follow-up on books that are overdue, books they are currently reading (these are due on June 2nd) or on any outstanding fines! There might even be a few books that might not show up on any list (we have self-checkout and sometimes the students miss hitting the barcode).
Overdue notices come out once a month and students received one last week and another notice today. Next week all students will receive a notice on what books they still have checked out—all books are due on June 2nd.
Thank you for assisting your student in getting all of the resources back to the Learning Center! If you have any questions you may call me at 206-7190 or email me at email@example.com
Parents of After School Tutoring Students: Thursday, May 22nd is the last day for tutoring.
Parents: Please be aware that the morning of Wednesday, June 4th there will be no supervision in Pendery Center. There is a district-wide meeting that morning. The Middle School day will start at 8:40 a.m.
Seventh Grade Families: The end of school is coming close! The end of the year celebration for 7th grade will look similar to last year. The students will remain at the Middle School/High School campus. They will enjoy a bagel breakfast, movies, a cookout lunch, ice cream sundae bar, several fun activity sessions, and end the day with a dance in the gym. It will take many volunteers to make this day a success. Some jobs require donations of food and supplies, while others are parents to man food tables and help with recess duty. If you are able to donate and/or help out, please click on the link below to sign up. Thank you in advance for helping make the last day of seventh grade a great one for our students!
