Author Tim Green to visit Wyoming Schools  Tim Green

Tim Green is an author of both adult books and books for children.  He has a couple of great sports series for children that draw from his experience playing with NFL’s Atlanta Falcons and from a dad’s perspective of coaching his own children.  Mr. Green played with the Atlanta Falcon’s from 1986 to 1993 where he was a linebacker and defensive end. You may have heard him on NPR or seen him on TV where he has been a sports analyst and commentator.  In addition to being an author he is an attorney in New York where he lives with his wife and five children.

We are honored to have Mr. Green visiting with our third through sixth graders here in the Wyoming School District.  He will be here on November the 6th from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. in the Pendery Center.  Students can purchase books from their teachers from now until October 25th.  Mr. Green will autograph his books for students.  Tim Green has a great message to share about family, academics, sports, friends, giving, perseverance and success.  Many students are reading his books, taking part in a reading contest, taking a Webquest to learn more about this inspirational author.  We are looking forward to a great visit with Tim Green.
