Magazine Turn-in Day – Tomorrow, September 12th, is the second turn-in day for the Magazine Sale Fundraiser.  Turn your orders in before school begins at the Pendery Center Lobby.

Make It Happen will have its first meeting on Monday, September 16th.  Make It Happen is the Middle School service club. The meeting will be held in Mrs. Anglim’s Art room right after school until 4:00.  Our first project will be to raise funds for the Sheltered Paws Dog Rescue.  We will have an honored guest-a four legged one- and his friend to tell us about this organization.  Any student in grades 5-8 is welcome.

Tech Club:  There will be a meeting today, September 11th at 3:15 in the Learning Center.   Check the Learning Center Blackboard Page for the groupings.

Recess/Lunch: Be sure that your full name is on your lunch box and jackets/sweatshirts.  Remember to “unplug and play” at recess.  Also, remember that the cafeteria is our cool zone if you do not want to go outside for recess.

Middle School Athlete Recognition Night:  This Thursday, September 12th, during halftime of the varsity football game at Wyoming we will recognize the middle school student athletes.  Each student athlete will get in free and should wear his/her team jersey.  Teams will line up on the track near the scoreboard with 4 minutes to go in the 2nd quarter.  The middle school student athletes will be introduced (as a team) at the beginning of halftime, prior to our band taking the field.
