High School Incident: After learning of a potential safety concern at the high school today, the staff and students worked together to evacuate Wyoming High School to the football field. Safety officials swept the facility. At 1:15 p.m. today, all staff and students at Wyoming High School returned to the building after law enforcement officials determined that there was no cause for concern. During the evacuation, we informed our staff and students at WMS of the situation at the high school and reassured them of their safety.
June 2 – Ceremonial Closing and Groundbreaking Ceremonies for Middle School, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on the Middle School front lawn. All community members are invited! The building will be open from 4 to 5 p.m. for brief tours and refreshments, followed by an official groundbreaking at 5 p.m.
Wyoming Youth Services After School Tutoring Program will be having their end of the year Candlepin Bowling and Pizza Party on Thursday, May 23rd , 2013 from 3:15 to 4:30pm. Only students with signed permission slips are allowed to attend. Please turn in the completed form by May 16th, 2013 to Ms. Chatterjee.

WMS Sports Awards: The Middle Sports Awards program that is scheduled for May 30th is cancelled. The program has been replaced this year by individual team sports celebrations at the end of each sport’s season.

Wyoming Youth Services: Are you looking for more ways for your child to connect with classmates over the summer? If so, consider signing your child up for the FREE Summer Program offered by Wyoming Youth Services for Wyoming residents in the 5th-8th grade for the 2013-14 school year. We work on self-esteem, team sportsmanship, and group dynamics while having fun. Our program runs Monday through Thursday from noon to 2 pm starting June 10th until August 8th.
