Wyoming Youth Services After School Tutoring  Program will be having their end of the year Candlepin Bowling and Pizza Party on Thursday, May 23rd , 2013 from  3:15 to 4:30pm.  Only students with signed permission slips are allowed to attend.  Please turn in the completed form by May 16th, 2013 to Ms. Chatterjee.

Tickets for the WMS Variety Show are on sale now at the cost of $5.00 each.  They will be sold in the Marble Hallway before school and outside the Cafeteria during lunch through the week.  The times for the shows are:  Thursday, May 9 at 4:00 p.m., Friday, May 10 at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, May 11 at 7:00 p.m.

8th Grade Students and Parents:  Tomorrow, May 10th, is when the 8th Grade Class Photo will be taken in front of the school.  Due to the threat of rain, the time of the photo shoot has been moved to 10:00 a.m.  If it is raining then the time will be moved to 1:00  p.m.  If it is still raining at that time we will take the picture in the gym.  Picture order forms were sent home with students this week.  Please send your order in with your student the day of the photo.  The orders will be collected by the photographer.

May Fete:  Wyoming May Fete is seeking parent and responsible teen volunteers for a few open positions.  Please use the contact or link information below to sign up and help out at this wonderful school fundraiser. PARENTS

There will be a Wyoming Middle School Swing Space informational meeting for 4th-7th grade parents on May 15th at 10:00 a.m. or 7:00 p.m. in Fay Auditorium. Information presented will include drop off/pick up procedures, academic programs, lunch/recess, shared areas with high school and much more.  Please plan to attend one of these important meetings.

Sports Physicals: Sports Physicals for the 2013-2014 school year will be available at  Wyoming High School on Saturday, May 18th from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the cost of $15.00.  Go to the following attachment for more information: .

Math Counts is cancelled today due to the variety show.

Ready to show some spirit?!  Next week is Spirit Week.

Monday is spirit wear.

Tuesday is twin day.

Wednesday is “pink” day.

Thursday is jersey day.

Please remember dress code rules apply.

Student Council: Petitions are available in Room 204. They are due Tuesday, May 14.  Student Council elections have been scheduled for Friday, May 24 in the afternoon.

Cheerleading: All girls interested in trying out for cheerleading, packets are now available in the office.  Tryouts are the week of May 20th.
