Mrs. McGlynn’s math class made commercials in partnership with U.C. Economics Department. The students’ competing companies developed products to sell to middle school students with the proceeds going to the charity of the winner’s choice. After voting, the winner of the best commercial was “Cowboy Clan” who chose to sell string backpacks. The charity that their donation will go to is the American Diabetes Association. The winning logo and slogan came from the Horseshoe Inc. group. You can view it, as well as all of the videos, attached here: Economics Program for Wyoming Middle School. If you would like to purchase a backpack or donate to this cause, we will be selling them May 7-9 outside the cafeteria during lunch at the cost of $10.00 each. They will be delivered by June 1.
