At last night’s Board of Education meeting, it was concluded that the current bids received for modular units and necessary site work exceeded the budget expectations for the project. As a result, the Board has authorized our Superintendent, Dr. Lang, to explore other swing space options.
To accommodate this change and the need for further planning, the Board also agreed to a shift in the time frame of the project. The renovation/addition work will now begin in June at the conclusion of the 2012-2013 school year. Due to the adjusted time frame of the project, we will not be moving into modular units in April 2013. The new completion date and return to the building for the Middle School project is now projected to be December 2014.
