The Middle School Football party will be held on Thursday, October 25th in the Wyoming High School Cafeteria at 5:30 p.m. Cost to the players is $6.00 and will cover the pizza and team/individual pictures that will be provided. Parents and siblings are welcome to attend and if they choose to eat, their cost will be $4.00 per person. Any football player who has not turned in their jersey(s), please bring them to the party. It is the coaches’ hope that you will all be able to attend.
Crumpled Classics, our first play of the year, opens this Thursday at 7:00 PM in Fay Auditorium. The show also runs on Friday at 4:00 PM and again on Saturday at 7:00 PM. Tickets are on sale at school all this week before school in the marble hallway and during lunch outside of the cafeteria. The ticket cost is $5.00.
Crumpled Classics is a comedy treat sprinkled with outrageous takes on some very familiar characters from time-honored tales.

Red Ribbon Week is October 22nd – October 26th, 2012! WYS has partnered with Wyoming Middle School again to promote drug and alcohol awareness to the Middle School Students. The school week will include lunch time activities and classroom education.
Attention Parents of 8th Grade Students: The $100.00 deposit for the Chicago Trip is due this Friday, October 26th. Please make checks payable to the “Wyoming Board of Education.” The deposit must be turned in by Friday if your 8th grader is planning to go on the trip.
The Wyoming Middle School Scholastic Book Fair will be held November 26 – 30 in Fay Auditorium. We rely on help from parent volunteers to make the Book Fair a success. Volunteers help restock books, work as cashier, and help kids find books. Plus, it’s really fun to see what’s new in children, teens, and adult literature!

Power of the Pen Students: There will be a practice tomorrow morning, October 25th in Room 321 at 7:20 for anyone who couldn’t make yesterday’s practice.
7th & 8th Grade Girls: We will have an open gym for all girls who are interested in trying out for the Wyoming Middle School basketball teams. Remaining open gyms are today and Thursday from 3:30-5:00 p.m.. Tryouts will begin next Friday, October 26. See Mr. Kunkel if you have questions.
7th & 8th Grade Students interested in participating on the middle school Swim and Dive Team: there is a parent informational meeting Wednesday, October 24th at 7:00 p.m. at the Powell Crosley YMCA in the Aquatic Room.
7th & 8th Grade Boys Wrestling – for all those interested in wrestling this season, sign-ups will be at 3:15pm in Fay Auditorium on October 30. Beginners are especially encouraged and all wrestlers are matched according weight. Have questions about the team or sport? Come to the meeting to learn more!
